Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is a professional representative body of media persons associated to various medias. The office FNJ- Kathmandu is located at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathamndu.
Federation of Nepali Journalists to this end has undertaken various initiatives that protect media rights and by extension protect people’s rights to access to information. Federation of Nepali Journalists- Kathmandu Chapter firmly believes in complete press freedom in a democratic environment and believes that without a functioning democracy, the constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights of people, right to information and expression, media freedom remain in danger.
Federation of Nepali Journalists- Kathmandu Chapter has run various activities directly or indirectly, carried out various programs to promote professional journalism and protect the rights of journalists as well as create social awareness.
